Project Solaris Guides Hub

From first-hour checklist to Day 100 Trial Ceremony — every core system explained.

Last updated:

Welcome to the Project Solaris guides hub. This wiki covers Greenhorn and IndieArk’s scenario-driven deck-building roguelite JRPG on Steam: a pixel-art story about the failed mage Solaris, the homunculus partner Hom (ホム in Japanese), and a hard 100-day calendar that ends in a final Trial Ceremony.

Use this page as a map. New players should start with the Getting Started checklist, learn Controls on keyboard and mouse, then read the deep Combat QTE guide before your first elite or boss. Veterans can jump straight to 100-Day Strategy, Daily Cards, Trial Bosses, Shopkeeping, Trust and Bond, the spoiler-light Endings overview, or the Achievements planner for the 85 Steam badges.

What Project Solaris asks of you

Each in-game day you choose one of three action cards. Typical options include Battle, Rest, Learn skill, Shopkeeping (earn money), Social / 交流, and Development / 開発. Those picks shape combat readiness, cash flow, Trust with Hom, side stories, and which ending branches open — full card breakdowns live on Daily Cards. Roughly every 20 days you face a boss or Trial Ceremony. Day 10 brings elite pressure. Day 100 is the final Trial. Prep checklists for those gates are on Trial Bosses. This is a single-player Steam PC release (Switch planned later) with a ~$9.99 / ¥1,420 price point and a separate demo (app 3400280).

Combat is turn-based, but success hinges on QTE gauges when you issue commands to Hom: yellow means a solid hit, red a critical success, and black / miss a failure. Higher Trust / Reliability makes harder skills easier to land. Money comes from battles or the shopkeeping route; craft and buy gear with two philosophies — Solaris gear is expensive and powerful when you can afford it, while Hom gear is cheaper bulk craft with more random outcomes that should match skill flavor.

Cross-link outward when you need roster or ranking context: the Players Hub for cast notes (Tetia, Croisé, August, Melchior, and more) and the Tier List Hub when you want investment priority after you understand the loop. Use the Day Planner when you want a written 20-day mix.

How to use these guides together

  1. Finish Getting Started so you know what a “good” Day 1–10 looks like.
  2. Drill Controls and Combat QTE until yellow and red hits feel intentional, not lucky.
  3. Treat Trust and Bond as a second resource bar — not optional fluff.
  4. Learn card opportunity cost on Daily Cards, then plan stretches with 100-Day Strategy and gate checklists on Trial Bosses.
  5. Fund spikes with Shopkeeping. When you care about branches, read Endings; when you care about completionism, read Achievements after a first clear.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Project Solaris players.

Where should a new Project Solaris player start?

Read Getting Started first, then Controls and Combat QTE before your Day 10 elite window. Add Daily Cards, Trust and Bond, 100-Day Strategy, and Trial Bosses once the calendar pressure feels real.

Is Project Solaris multiplayer?

No. It is a single-player Steam PC release. A Nintendo Switch version is planned later; there is no multiplayer loop to plan around.

How long is a full run?

The core structure is a 100-day campaign with bosses or Trial Ceremonies about every 20 days and a final Trial on Day 100. Real-time length depends on how often you shopkeep, rest, and retry fights.

Do these guides spoil endings?

System guides stay spoiler-light. The Endings page explains how branches form from choices and milestones without dumping plot reveals. Achievements stays category-level. Cast details live on the Players hub.

Where are Trial, daily card, and achievement guides?

Use Trial Bosses for elite and ceremony checklists, Daily Cards for each action type’s opportunity cost, and Achievements for a spoiler-light 85-badge multi-run plan.

Is there a demo?

Yes. Steam lists a Project Solaris demo under app 3400280. Use it to practice QTE timing and the daily card loop before buying the full game.
